Do I need to stop taking my supplements prior to my bloodwork?

Yes, discontinue all non-essential supplements 72 hours before testing.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

To ensure the most accurate baseline results, please stop taking all non-essential supplements and medications 72 hours prior to your blood draw. This allows us to see your body's true biomarker levels without interference from supplementation.

What to Stop (72 hours before):

  • All vitamins and minerals

  • Herbal supplements

  • Protein powders

  • Pre-workouts

  • Any other nutritional supplements

What to Continue:

  • Essential prescription medications (never stop these without consulting your doctor)

  • Medications for chronic conditions

  • Any medication your physician has instructed you not to discontinue

This clean baseline allows your Wellness Specialist to accurately assess your body's natural state and create the most effective personalized protocol. After your blood draw, you can immediately resume your normal supplement routine.

If you have any questions about whether a specific medication is considered "essential," please reach out to your care team through the app before your scheduled draw.
